Training For Work

Build skills. Gain experience. Start your career in construction. Our Training for Work programme, fully funded by Glasgow City Council, supports young people aged 16–24 and adults aged 25+ living in Glasgow. Whether you’re a school leaver, unemployed, or looking to change careers, this 12-week full-time programme provides practical construction skills, recognised qualifications, and real work experience. All at no cost to you. What You’ll Gain 🔧 Practical Construction Training (6 Weeks) Hands-on training at our East End centre in: Painting & Decorating Joinery Brickwork Groundworks Aluminium Mobile Towers 🎓 Industry-Recognised Qualifications CSCS Card Lifetime SQA Level 4 Health and Safety within a Construction Environment Certification 💼 Employability Skills Support with CVs, interviews, workplace expectations, confidence, and communication. 🏗️ Work Placement (6 Weeks) A placement with a local construction employer, matched to your interests, offering real site experience and an opportunity of progression into employment or apprenticeships. 🤝 Dedicated Support Guidance and support throughout training, placement, and next steps. Who Can Apply?
