The first 6 weeks of training will be delivered from Monday - Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm in one of our Classroom/Practical areas. Learners will undertake 20 days of classroom based lessons to develop knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in a Construction Environment and Employability skills. Learners will be supervised and trained at all times by fully qualified industry professionals, who currently hold an up to date enhanced PVG Disclosure and have many years’ experience in their particular trade. Once we are confident learners are ready, they will complete an online CSCS Test and online Health & Safety in a Construction Environment Test and CSCS card will be awarded to all successful learners. All Learners will receive a weekly training allowance of £55 while in the centre. The final 6 weeks will be carried out in a work placement of choice which will support learners to develop their skills, enhancing personal development for future growth at the same time as providing real life work experiences. During their time in placement they will be expected to attend each day and follow the instructions of their employer. All learners will receive a weekly allowance of £100 during their 6 week placement. For further information on how to apply for this course please call us.
